Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

We only stayed in Malaysia for one full day. We discovered we would have to fly through Kuala Lumpur on the way to Australia, so we decided to turn it into a quick stop. It turned out to be one of the cheapest and nicest places we’ve stayed so far!

H, Mom and I went to Little India and Little China to look around and find food for dinner. C and K needed a break after long travel days, so they stayed home with Dad. We enjoyed the beautiful racks of clothes, hanging lanterns and parade that passed us. Our evening was cut short by a downpour.

We loved our apartment! It had a beautiful view of the city, it was near the subway and grocery store and restaurants downstairs. We were awakened by the call to prayer every morning– a new experience for us. It was a wonderful, relaxing stop. We’d love to go back! There’s so much we didn’t get to experience because our visit was so short!

Next Stop–Australia!
